Silent Air Taxi: Another Urban Air Mobility solution

As electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and urban air mobility (UAM) operation are under the spotlight now, the electric propulsion application in fixed wing designs are making steady progress as well. Instead of targeting the short distance inter-city UAM market as eVTOL are designed for, fixed wing electric airplanes
take the advantages of higher efficiency and longer range
to aim for the intra-city commute market. A German startup called e.SAT unveiled its Silent Air Taxi design at Aachen-Merzbrück Airfield near Aachen in Germany on June 11, 2019.
